Clinical information

Slide 1BM - bone marrow slide scanned at 40x

Normal bone marrow with mature and immature maturation stages of all cell lineages.

Cellularity (ratio of precursor cells to fat) is 52% and within normal range of 30-70%.

The M:E ratio (ratio of myeloid cells to erythroid cells) is 3:1 (normal)

The ME ratio was determined by doing a 500 cell differential. The blast percent is normal at 3.1% (normal up to 5%) and the number of megakaryocytes is normal as well.
