Clinical information

Reference ID: LN-T-1 A
History: A 10y/o boy presented with the enlarged lymph nodes in his left side neck. He was also suffering from viral fever.

Diagnosis: Reactive Lymph Node Hyperplasia

Discussion:
A heterogenous population of lymphocytes dispersed as single cells is numerically dominated by the small round lymphocytes. The largest cell an immunoblast, is about 3.5 times the diameter of the small lymphocyte. A range of maturation of lymphocytes with a tingible body macrophage indicates a benign reactive process.
